BIO
Dr. Lloyd sees patients in the hospital and clinic setting as part of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases division. Scholarly activities center on the use of antimicrobials in children, with a more recent focus on prescribing in the outpatient setting, via both quality improvement work and research. She has served as the pediatric physician lead on the Ambulatory Antimicrobial Stewardship Program since its inception in 2020. As a part of this program, she is closely involved in developing and updating clinical guidelines, providing education and individualized feedback to various provider groups, developing electronic medical record-based tools, and creating metrics and dashboards to track outpatient prescribing.
