Judith Smith

Judy Smith serves as an Informationist at the Taubman Health Sciences Library. focusing on health policy and health services research information seeking. She develops and cultivates collaborations to help incorporate quality evidence into the teaching, learning, and research activities in the health sciences on campus. Judy's core liaison areas include the Department of Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health, and a variety of units within the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation.

Prior to her work at U-M, Judy served as a distance education librarian at the Johns Hopkins University, and a research associate at the Carnegie Corporation of New York. She graduated from the University of Michigan, spending a semester abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Judy received her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
